Our client, a leading name in their field is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Credit Controller to join their well-established town centre based office. The principle of the Credit Controller is to help maximise cash flow by ensuring levels of debt and unbilled are kept to a minimum. The successful candidate will be professional and possess excellent Customer Service skills.
Work closely alongside Customer Service Executives, Sales Teams and Credit Risk team to ensure cash flow maximisation is achieved
Daily work will be managed by the employee within agreed processes
Pre-debt monitoring and chasing
Overdue debt chasing
Communicating with customers via telephone email and letter
Decision making any billed or unbilled debt related activity
Experience and skills required:
Knowledge of the Electricity industry and three years Customer Service experience preferred.
Proven Debt Management skills and experience Essential
IT skills in MS Office, Outlook, Internet.
Applying good negotiation and complaint handling skills successfully
Act as a role model, providing advice, solutions and support
