We are looking for an experienced credit controller to work for this successful, growing Birmingham based, environmentally aware organisation.

DUTIES:
* Working on your own dedicated accounts
* Ensuring timely cash collections
* Ensuring customers pay within their agreed payment terms
* Chasing payments if necessary (phone, email or letter)
* Helping maintain debt reduction
* Preparing proposed stop list with aged balances
* Maintain and update credit control system
* Maintaining audit files/trails
* Effectively dealing with customer account queries/complaints
* Liaison with Senior Manager to determine priority accounts
* Escalate issues internally and externally where appropriate
* Reporting aged debts and recovery action to senior management
* Ad-hoc work within accounts dept.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Minimum of 2 years credit control experience
* Strong numeric ability
* IT literate
* Attention to detail
* Team player
* Good communication skills and confident nature
* Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
* Target driven individual
