A large, well established litigation practice is looking to recruit an experienced fee earner to deal with a caseload of predominantly Defendant RTA based claims involving personal injury, vehicle related damages, loss of earnings and hire/repairs.

Some claims may involve lodging a counterclaim on behalf of the insured and as such some claimant experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants from either Defendant or Claimant background are welcome provided that the candidate has in excess of 2 years' fee earning experience involving claims that have exited the MOJ Portal due to issues of liability, causation or complexity. The value of the defended claims will more often than not be less than £25,000 but there is some scope to deal with claims up to £50,000 if so desired.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced PI Solicitor, Legal Executive or Paralegal with an interest in joining a large and supportive law firm.
