A market leader in the industry, this business is looking for a dynamic and driven sales professional to join their business and carry out an impressive growth strategy. This is a unique development role, with the opportunity to move into the senior management team.
Working for a well-established and recognised Brand, you will act as a true Ambassador, utilising solid business acumen to identify commercial opportunities for growth and business development, allocating both time and resource accordingly.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team you will be responsible for a large geographical territory, proactively defining customer sales strategy based on commercial opportunity. You will draw on experience and market intelligence to identify and qualify leads in order to maximise sales potential and sustain profitable ROI.
Daily priorities will include the preparation of calls, using sales analytics and other sources such as customer websites and CRM system. Although you will be working in a product based industry, you will bring a solution-based approach to customers in order to develop rapport and respect across a diverse client base. Following a solid strategy you will execute calls to a variety of independent retail, bakery, e-commerce and wholesale customers - bringing an individualised and consultative approach to each account.
Working in a challenging and autonomous role, you will show initiative and drive to succeed and grow. Due to the development opportunities that this position brings, you will evidence the desire to take on additional projects and responsibilities as delegated from the Senior Management Team.
To be successful within this role you must have a driven and passionate approach to sales, with genuine interest in business and commerce. You will have a proven record in product sales, but also carry experience in solution-based selling, understanding the importance of maintaining a consultative approach.
You will ideally carry experience of selling to independent retail, bakery, food service or wholesale environments, with a solid understanding of the industry. You will show experience of developing positive working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

You will receive a base salary of up to £35k per annum, with a competitive bonus attached
