Base salary £30,000 - £40,000 (Doe) + uncapped commission and good benefits.

Commission =

  • Year 1, base salary + on target you'll likely make circa £15,000 commission.
  • Year 2+, uncapped and realistic opportunities to make good money through a mix of new business + subscription renewal + quarterly and + annual bonus.


Conga Learning’s client is a groundbreaking creative firm who produce unique and peerless E-Learning products.
Their customers include the who’s who of the corporate world. They are well known for the quality and unique selling points of their multimedia products. For the right need at the right time, the products almost sell themselves.

Team environment

This new position that been created due to continued business growth, will see a Business Development specialist join their Sales team. The team is well led by an empowering manager. There are circa 10 people in the sales team, they are a friendly bunch of people who work autonomously in a motivated but relaxed environment. The team also benefit from many warm leads provided by a strong marketing function and also have excellent sales tools at their disposal.

The position

A soft Solution based Sales approach will likely be very successful. The position is a mix of a hunting role and account management position. The job will see someone primarily targeting professional organisations (all industry sectors) across the UK. The typical size of the company that buys our clients digital products is 300-1000 employees. The role requires someone to proactively build their patch. Often an initial product is sold (average sale is circa £6,000 but can be up to £50,000 in revenue) to a company and once the relationship has been made much more are cross-sold. The sales specialist will be rewarded for new and continued business.

Core Requirements for the role

  • A highly self-motivated, self-confident, intelligent, organised and friendly person who is empathetic and can spot and close opportunities.
  • Someone with 2+years successful autonomous B2B Business Development / Sales hunting experience. The accounts sold into should be corporate.
