River Mounts are currently recruiting for a career-focused credit controller in Birmingham. The Role


Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Full function of Credit Control
* Chasing debt over the phone and via email

* Setting up new client accounts and assessing their credit limit

* Resolution of customer queries

* Produce aged debt statements monthly

* Monitoring daily bank payments
* Allocating payments to accounts

* Client negotiation

* Liaising with internal teams
* Adhoc account duties



The Ideal Candidate


The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* Previous credit control experience essential

* Strong numeracy skills

* Intermediate Excel skills

* Have an excellent telephone manner and be flexible in your attitude to work.
* Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
* The ability to meet deadlines and targets
* An extensive Credit Control background with exposure to all-round accounts role preferable

* Years of experience 2 years+

Benefits

*Salary £20,000 to £25,000 (salary negotiable depending on experience)

*Career progression available

*28 days holiday allowance (including Bank holidays) Holidays will increase by one day each year up to a maximum of 33 days

*No weekends required
