Working at our new facility at Bournemouth Airport we are looking for a Commercial Officer intern to join us this summer. This is an ideal role for a recent Law Graduate to gain working experience in forward thinking, global organisation. The Commercial Officer provides effective support to the Curtiss-Wright Industrial Division. Working with our sales teams, the successful candidate will negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with customers world-wide to ensure that our bids and contracts are in line with our corporate contracts policy and meet the required corporate risk profile. We will provide full training for the role to cover:
- Contract negotiations
- Bid reviews
- Management of claims and variations received by Curtiss-Wright

- Qualified to degree level (Preferably a Law Degree)
- Enthusiastic, driven and action oriented

This position may require exposure to information which is subject to export control regulations such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must meet eligibility requirements of the ITAR and of the UK/EU through completion of a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) application.
