Project Manager - Residential Development

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to assist the Development pipeline programme reporting to the Programme Director. As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the project produces the predefined required deliverables, to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost and time.

What you will do:

  • To ensure that all project management documentation meets the required quality standards as outlined in Barnet's Corporate Project Management Toolkit

  • To plan the project, agree the plan with project board, and prepare detailed plans for each stage

  • To manage the project on a day to day basis

  • To execute the plan, monitor progress and take the necessary corrective action

  • To report progress at agreed intervals to the project board, advising the board immediately if plan tolerance levels are exceeded

  • To identify and manage project risks & Issues

Your experience will include:

  • Detailed knowledge of project management methodology

  • Detailed knowledge of project planning processes and techniques

  • Knowledge of potential sources of risk, mitigation, opportunities and their impact on project success

  • Previous experience of managing a range of projects

  • Previous experience of managing a variety of senor stakeholder groups across a complex stakeholder landscape

  • Experience of developing and of working within a structured programme & project management framework

  • Some residential experience is desirable along
