Telephone Account Manager
Salary £22,000 - £28,000k + Commission (OTE £5k)
To develop the performance of a select customer database, proactively contacting and solidifying relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities to sell a range of products. Also managing a mix of long &
short term training projects designed to build relationships and meet specific objectives including product usage.
Pro-actively contacting existing customers to establish and build a relationship.
Develop strong relationships with customers to enable you to promote the company, our products and customer support.
Adopt a consultative approach to design, present and implement project based activity relating to individual customers’ needs.
Pro-actively identify training opportunities to support the relationship and deliver over the telephone.
Point of contact to answer customer queries, resolution of problems and provide training to resolve reoccurring issues.
Ensure continuing levels of customer satisfaction by proactively making retention calls and encouraging use of additional products.
Generating company revenue by encouraging regular use of existing products.
Attend occasional face to face meetings with field Account Managers and customers as and when required.
Identify opportunities and influence decision makers to purchase additional products.
Identifying sales opportunities for Account Managers which require face to face contact.
Ensure sound up to date knowledge of products to deliver excellent customer service and maximise selling opportunities.
Recording information in relevant databases and ensure databases are kept up to date.
Excellent knowledge of products and services and be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver this knowledge and product training over the telephone.
Demonstrated experience of managing and dealing with customer expectations in accordance with company behaviours to ensure excellent customer service is delivered.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver personal work objectives whilst taking a pro-active approach to work and demonstrated experience of managing a busy workload.
Ability to manage competing demands arising from internal and external relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and experience of handling commercially sensitive information which varies between each client.
Demonstrated experience of working in a targeted environment with a desire to achieve sales & productivity targets.
Driven to achieve personal and team objectives whilst demonstrating company behaviours.
PC literacy - competent in using a PC particularly word, excel and company systems
