talentdesk are currently working with a family run Accountants to recruit for a payroll clerk/ administrator, to run the bureau for a number care homes. This is a full-time position, with hours to be completed either over four days, Monday to Thursday, or over 5 days but with Friday working from home. There is some flexibility on start/ finish times.
You will be involved in:
- Uploading all information from in-house database to Sage 50
- Knowledge of auto-enrolment
- Being able to work unsupervised
- Processing BACS runs
- Checking all staff hours submitted are correct
- Cross referencing hours on Excel and Sage
- Dealing with any queries
Previous use of Sage 50 is essential and a working knowledge of Excel. You must be able to process a large amount of data, with speed and accuracy. This role requires a quick start so people with short or no notice periods will be preferred.
