Major Donor Manager Part Time
Great opportunity for an experienced Major Donor fundraiser to join this well established charity for 3 days a week, they may consider 4 or 5 days for the right candidate. This new role will be responsible for developing and implementing a Major Donor strategy.

Developing the strategy and being responsible for all aspects of Major Donor recruitment and stewardship
Managing a portfolio of donors, developing a personalised contact strategy and donor journey for each contact, and actively making asks of new and existing donors
Developing a persuasive Case for Support that fits with the strategic aims
Providing stewardship to prospects and Major Donors including impact reports
Working closely with the events team on Major Donor events and developing a calendar of cultivation events
Segmenting the prospects and Major Donor portfolio for solicitation and cultivation personally, or by the Chief Executive, Director of Fundraising and Community Relations, Senior Management Team and Trustees and supporting them as necessary to achieve the desired results
At least one years major gift fundraising - or similar- experience at a senior level
Proven track record of successfully dealing with High Net Worth Individuals to secure significant gifts
Ability to devise, manage and deliver individualised cultivation and solicitation for a portfolio of High Net Worth Prospects to generate annual revenue of 110K plus from donations of 5K and above,
Ability to successfully make asks of 20,000 and above
The ability to build and manage relationships and work co-operatively with people at all levels, both within and outside the organisation
Excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to influence people at all levels, including senior colleagues, Trustees and high net worth individuals
Knowledge of current best practice in Major Donor fundraising
