Are you an experienced Buyer? Experienced using MRP systems? Supply chain management?
Our client are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their fast-growing organisation.
Overall purpose of the Buyer role:
- Sourcing and purchase of goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering quality, cost and delivery
Buyer key responsibilities:
- Preparation and raising purchase orders to schedule
- Supply chain management
- Use of MRP system
- Negotiation of contracts and improvements of prices
Buyer skills and attributes:
- Accuracy and keen attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Assertive, resilient and proactive
- Good communicator
- Continuous improvement
Previous experience is required and preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Training and support is provided along with a competitive salary.
