Our client is offering a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated early years professionals to influence and promote the development of childcare within their nursery.

The ideal Early Years Practitioner will have a proven track record and experience of working within a preschool or nursery.

As an Early Years Practitioner the successful candidate must:

  • Have a good knowledge of childcare and development and hold an Early Years Childcare qualification to a minimum of level 2 and preferably level 3 and Maths and English GCSE grades A-C.(or be willing to achieve this)
  • Help ensure the nursery delivers high quality care and education through the provision of a safe, stimulating child-centred play and learning environment, which caters for children’s individual care, educational and development needs
  • Make sure that all agreed quality and safety standards and educational programmes are maintained at all times
  • Take responsibility for a group of children and effectively maintain all required documentation including development records
  • Have a secure understanding of the EYFS welfare and learning requirements
  • Demonstrate an excellent awareness of health and safety and safeguarding procedures
  • Promote strong secure partnerships and use excellent communication skills when liaising with parents and others involved in children’s care and learning
  • Be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office, Word, E-mail and write clear reports
