Our Client
Our client is a European distributer of domestic and small to medium commercial water treatment products. The brands they represent haven't been known in the UK for long but they have experienced rapid growth over the last 2 years in their B2C division as well as the B2B side. In order to grow the UK market, they are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to develop relationships with customers and large retail accounts.

The Role
As a Business Development Manager you will be expected to help win new accounts throughout the UK and help develop existing relationships within agreed levels of revenue & profitability. It will be your job to provide timely and professional documentation of activities and results against the agreed schedule of objectives and to deliver continuous feedback on the marketplace for the benefit of the business as a whole.

The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, be able to manage their own time effectively and be highly motivated, with great attention to detail. You must hold yourself to high standards when representing the business in front of customers, and also when providing progress reports to your line manager. It is essential that you have a history of selling filters and have experience of dealing with and selling to Major Multiples, Internet Stockists, Retailers and Commercial Filtration Re-sellers. Experience selling own branded products to retailers would be advantageous, but not essential.
