The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior National Account Manager to join a leading Personal Care / Cosmetics business. The company has a strong presence across the Grocery Multiples, Pharmacy and Wholesale channels with a large focused national accounts team to grow their brands from strength to strength. They have a track record for investing in their people and have won many awards for being a leading employer.

The Role

As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for growing and developing the business within Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Reporting into the Head of Sales, your tasks will include accurate forecasting, managing promotional activity, managing profitability and identifying and taking advantage of the numerous opportunities that exists within each customer account. Whilst this is a home based role, it is also customer facing meaning you will be expected to visit the accounts regularly to build a mutually profitable relationship.

The Person

To be considered for this role you must be a driven and dynamic individual with a proven track record of successfully managing retail customers at NAM level. A history managing Tesco & Sainsbury’s is desired, experience working with any of the top 4 grocers is essential. Although a background in the Personal Care / Cosmetics market is not necessary, the successful applicant will have relevant experience working within the FMCG branded arena. You will be a high achiever with a commercial mind and a proven history of increasing sales and opening new trading relationships.
