Summary

We now have an exciting opportunity for Litigation Support to join our in house legal department, AXA Legal Services, who are instructed to act on behalf of AXA and Swiftcover policy holders.

We’re an in-house legal unit within AXA Motor and responsible for managing litigated claims on behalf of AXA and its policyholders. The Claimant team pursues claims to recover AXA and our customers’ losses, whereas the Defendant team defends claims brought against AXA or our customers.




What you will be doing

The role encompasses:

  • Draft non-complex Court Documents for Claimant and Defendant Litigation teams

  • Processing of Issued claims, Judgments and Discontinuances electronically.

  • Printing documents and preparing trial bundles for the Court

  • Set up new litigation files using case management script and management of E filing and setting of prescribed schedules

  • Manage a caseload of Infant Approval files and process other payments as required in support of litigation teams

  • Manage cheques received by LSU by recording, logging onto the system and notifying Finance cashiers

  • Sending of instructions to panel costs draftsmen for negotiation

  • Managing incoming and outgoing post and scanning post and running of allocation scripts

  • Ordering of general stationary, printer toners and other general office stock using ARIBA

  • Dealing with reception duties including managing incoming ‘phone calls for the litigation teams, signing in visitors, receiving deliveries and taking boardroom bookings
