My client is working exclusively with The One Group to recruit a new Finance Manager to join their team; my client is an ambitious and growing company who will soon be the global leader in their specialist field.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who has maximum 5 years PQE; you will be used to working in a small, dynamic team and will be willing to roll your sleeves up and get involved with all aspects of finance. You will ideally have experience of completing a company audit. The successful candidate will be a confident individual who will quickly gain gravitas with colleagues and will take an active mentor role for junior finance team members. You will be an ambitious person who wants to progress their career as the business expands. You must have proven experience of managing finance and business matters in a small company environment and be used to working in an autonomous capacity.

This Finance Manager role offers the successful applicant the opportunity to make their mark in the business; you will help to grow and develop the finance function, expanding the team beneath you. You will be responsible for preparing the accounts and monitoring lower level processes including journal entries, general ledger management and reconciliation work; you will run VAT reports and assist in a new systems implementation project. As the Finance Manager you will be required to partner non-finance colleagues on all finance related matters, ensuring the accuracy of information shared between and understood by non-finance departments.
