About the role:

Athona Recruitment are excited to currently be working with an award winning and leading independent provider of specialist neurological care and neuro-rehabilitation. They care for people aged 18 onwards with physical illnesses, restricted mobility, and diverse behaviours.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will be the lead for nursing practice development across the organisation to ensure the highest standards of nursing and clinical practice for our residents. You will develop the company as a learning environment; ensuring that supervision, mentoring, appraisal, training and continuous professional development take place in a constructive manner for all nursing / care staff.
My Clients residents are at the heart of everything they do. They strive to nurture holistic wellbeing through there purpose-built facilities, highly trained multi-disciplinary teams, the care models they offer and the therapies and activities provided. My client has seven specialist neurological care units; three in Milton Keynes and four in Peterborough.

Requirements for the Lead Nurse role
NMC PIN number
At least 3 year's recent experience of working within a neurological support, or similar, environment where you will have kept your clinical skills and your CPD up to date
A strong knowledge of person-centered care.
You'll be committed to learning and developing further.
You will possess demonstrable practice development and clinical supervision experience and knowledge of current CQC training requirements. Knowledge of the current care practices laid down by the CQC.
A credible and persuasive communicator, you will also be dynamic, proactive, highly organised and able to critically analyse situations and make sound judgements.
