The Company:

Our client is an exciting energy solutions consultancy whose core product offering is energy contract management for GP practices throughout the UK. Working in partnership with all of the main energy suppliers and smaller independents, the Company operates predominately within a specialist niche sector, helping busy practice managers in all matters related to their gas and electricity supply contracts, including all contract administration issues. The Company also provides cutting edge solutions for energy efficiency and consumption monitoring, SMART metering and other energy solutions coupled with energy supply account management needs, tailored to each practice.

The Role:

The Marketing Manager is critical in helping to support the ongoing growth of the business as well as working alongside marketing partners to enhance and support the Company’s brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing marketing support to the sales team and other internal and external departments

  • Focusing on new business creation through Marketing

  • Building and creating brand awareness in existing and new markets

  • Delivery of both internal and external on brand communications and key messages

  • Developing and producing marketing collateral including brochures, leaflets, case studies working closely with external agencies

  • Day to day maintenance of the CRM database

  • Ongoing maintenance of content on the company's website

  • Monitor/ reporting of website analytics

  • Providing assistance in developing internet presence, improving search rankings and improving visibility

  • Performing market and competitor research

  • Work closely with the Company’s London based marketing agency

  • Attending and co-ordinating exhibitions and events within the UK

Key Attributes:

  • Educated to degree level in marketing/business or hold a qualification in marketing (e.g. CIM)

  • Prior experience of working with external marketing agency is preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally

  • Strong Social Media background.

  • Possess a mix of both analytical and creative skills

  • Highly motivated with good time management

  • Effective project management skills

  • Ability to work on their own initiative to achieve agreed objectives

  • Ability to work as part of a team in helping to deliver marketing and company initiatives

  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office along with CRM database experience
