Their products include award-winning online information databases, market reports and analysis and their clients include international Financial institutions, government libraries, business schools as well as some of the world’s largest FMCG providers.
About the role of Business Development Manager - Consulting Sales
Based in Central London this is an exciting opportunity to join the Consulting Sales team!
Your main remit will be to generate new revenue from consulting sales / bespoke research from new clients across a number of industry verticals throughout the EMEA region.
This will be very much a consultative type of sale where average order values can range from £60,000 - £120,000.
The role will be a mix of office / client facing selling and presenting bespoke research solutions to 'C’ level Executives of large brands / Corporates and converting business intelligence needs into commercially viable custom research solutions.
This represents a significant opportunity for someone looking for a diverse, challenging and in depth sales role.
- Degree educated
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Understanding of selling business information research and consulting techniques
- Experience of selling bespoke research / consulting solutions is essential!
- Excellent negotiation, pitching, communication and proposal writing skills
- Intelligent, able to solve problems and react positively to change
- Experience of working for a leading market research or management consulting firm in a high level sales role would be highly beneficial
