Global Property Investment Management Group with offices in Europe and Asia have experienced exceptional growth throughout last year.

As a consequence are seeking a Group Financial Reporting Manager to take responsibility for all corporate statutory reporting and technical accounting across the Group.

Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Group Finance responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of quarterly, half-yearly and annual group reporting
• Co-ordinating the production of Group and all single entity financial statements - IFRS and local GAAP
• Advising on corporate transactions, working with tax, treasury and Group finance staff to ensure correct accounting treatment for complex transactions
• Preparing policy papers and work with PLC Group Finance team regarding accounting policies
• Evaluating, advising and implementing any changes to IAS and or local GAAP
• Providing segmental reporting to senior management and shareholders
• Working closely with outsourcers, auditors, company secretariat and Directors to ensure the smooth production and filing of all annual Report and Accounts.
• Assessing design and implement improved balance sheet controls/ reconciliations
• Preparing all accounting papers, for example setting goodwill, goodwill impairment testing and share scheme accounting
• Providing technical training sessions on updates to accounting standards to the Group Finance teams and wider business
• Working as advisory on Corporate Acquisitions
• Working as advisory on Fund Finance technical matters

The Successful candidate profile for the Group Financial Reporting Manager role is likely to be:

• Graduate with strong academics Qualified Accountant ideally ACA or ACCA or the international equivalent
• Strong technical skills including good knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. Somebody who really enjoys the technical aspect of accountancy
• Strong Group reporting experience
• Experience of working within a Group Head office of an international company
• Experience of managing external advisor relationships and other internal stakeholders
• Knowledge of Hyperion Consolidation would be preferable

The role is based in Central London with easy access to the tube

Package is up to £80,000 plus bonus(dependent upon level of experience)
