We have a fantastic opportunity with a leading housing association in London for an experienced Project Manager to take on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. Previous experience within construction project management is essential, ideally within a social housing environment.

Key Duties for the Project Manager:

*Manage a programme of projects in accordance with design and technical briefs, financial regulations and project timetable.
*Co-ordinate and manage a project team of internal and external specialists, contractors and resources
*Ensure that all property records fully reflect works undertaken.
*Work proactively with residents and other key internal customers
*Ascertain service needs and co-ordinate programme delivery to ensure that service needs are met.
*Responsible for health & safety issues e.g. CDM regs; site safety; risk management of staff on site etc.
*Develops customer expectations and other key stakeholders' involvement in a programme of projects.
*Significant interaction with other parts of the organisation, generally at the same level.

Character and Skills Profile for the Project Manager:

*Experience of managing refurbishment or development projects in social housing
*Working knowledge of the client role in site management.
*Technical or professional qualification in construction project management.
*Proven team working and communication skills at all levels.
*Numerate with excellent IT skills
*Key team member who understands the wider impact of work on other departments.
*Personable, pro-active, professional
*Able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service.

Package for the Project Manager:

Salary - £40,000
Contract Length - 12 months fixed term
Hours - Mon to Fri 9am - 5pm (occasional out of hours' work may be required)

A basic DBS check will be required for any successful application to this position.
