My client, a prestigious and well established PR agency located in Oxford, are seeking a PR Account Executive to add value to their business and achieve growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in PR.
The PR Account Executive
As a PR Account Executive, you will be expected to write and publish content on campaigns on a daily basis, according to client specifications. Working in PR involves analysing trends across media platforms and then updating your campaigns according to these trends. You will need to keep in touch with journalists, bloggers and consumers to monitor the PR reception of the campaigns. You will be in close touch with client, keep them up to date on their campaigns.

The Ideal Candidate
To succeed as a PR Account Executive, you will ideally have some kind of background in PR, either agency or in house. You will have a good understanding of all types of media channels and experience of pitching stories to journalists. In this PR position, you will need excellent writing and analytical skills, to research news articles and create content accordingly. You will also be passionate about your clients needs, exploring any possible PR opportunities. If you are a graduate, this would be desirable but is not essential
This position will be have office hours of Monday-Friday, approximately 9-5, however with PR you will always need to keep an eye on the media, so this is down to you! The salary will be paying up to £24,000 DOE, with other great benefits on offer. There are also fantastic opportunities to progress and you could see yourself in a Senior position within two years if you perform well!
