Service care Solutions is looking for a competent practitioner to assess the employees of one of our clients on QCF Diploma and Apprenticeships programmes within the Health and Social Care Sector. In Derby and Nottinghamshire. Our Client is a leading provider of care for adults with complex needs, Mental health, physical disabilities and learning disabilities across the UK.

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Job Role
This post is key to the development of the group in terms of meeting and exceeding national training requirements and promoting standards of excellence within our service provision.

If you are a highly motivated confident person with a good understanding of the VQ/QCF Diploma process, this could be the role for you! Managing your own learner caseload you will be working with some autonomy but under guidance and supervision. You will have good communication, time management skills and have the ability to motivate and develop others.

In order to provide a consistent approach within our employee development function, you will be required to attend meetings both with the internal team and external regulatory bodies. The role includes working with the Operational Teams to promote high standards of learning and development including e-learning. You will help to ensure a safe working environment for staff which complies with Health and Safety legislation and National Minimum Standards.

As this post involves commuting within a defined geographical area (Derby and Notts) the post holder will hold a full driving license and have access to a motor vehicle.

* Qualified S/NVQ Assessor A1/D32 and D33
* NVQ Level 3 or Above
* Good Level of Numeracy and Literacy
* Experience in a Health and Social care role
* Knowledge of Different Learning Methods and NVQ process
* Full Driving Licence

* Relevant Key Skills Knowledge/qualification
* Current Health and Safety Certificate
* Current Moving and Handling Certificate
* Computer Literate
* Able to demonstrate current practice
* Basic understanding of Care Standards Act 2000 and valuing people
* Understanding of National minimum standards
* Understanding of providing care fir vulnerable people in a variety of living situations
