Places for People Living + are looking for a Part Time Project Worker to support the Azuka scheme in Wellingborough. As a Project Worker with Living+ you will work with our residents to provide a bespoke service accommodating their individual complex needs.

What your role will be

You will join the Azuka scheme who provide care to clients with mental health problems. The scheme has 9 self-contained units and you will provide care to residents throughout the duration of their stay. You will assess and sign up new residents making sure that they are aware of rent payment arrangements and settle well. 
You will carry out regular reviews of the clients support needs both from internal group staff and external agencies, this will include risk assessments.  We work in partnership with other agencies to ensure a consistent high level of service to residents including managing external communication. This role will include managing an individual caseloads of clients. In this role you will have responsibility for your own administration keeping this up to date.

Your background

This role will see you working with vulnerable clients who have mental health related problems, to be considered you will have experience working with a vulnerable client group ideally mental health related.  Experience working within a housing management role would also be deemed highly beneficial. A general understanding of policies and legislation would set a candidate apart and allow them to support our clients.
You should be computer literate with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
This role will see you as a lone worker so you need to be comfortable working independently.
This is a part time role covering Monday – Friday, however we can be flexible on the hours within 9:30- 17:00. Two of these days will require a later finishing time.
