Due to increased demand for the excellent supported living service my client is currently recruiting Support Workers for a service within the proximity of Weymouth/ Dorchester and Poole/ Bournemouth areas.

If you would like a permanent full time opportunity, we have a role that combines hours in both Weymouth/ Dorchester and Bournemouth/ Poole areas.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible in their approach, have a desire to support adults with a learning disability to meet their potential and enjoy working in a service that puts the client at the centre of what we do.

You will need to be willing to work shifts which will include weekends, evenings, sleep ins (1 or 2 per week) and Bank Holidays.

Previous experience of working with people with a learning disability would be beneficial, however more important is your value base and a genuine desire to work in a support environment. You will need to hold a full driving licence and have use of a car with business insurance and be able to demonstrate clear verbal communication skills.
