Location: Mobile Role - Near to Harrow preferred but not essential

Mr Fix Mobile Mechanic London are specialists in mobile vehicle repairs, including: Servicing, Brakes, Alternators, Starter motors, Radiators and coolant leaks, MOT failures, suspension, Exhausts, Window faults and more.
Based London Mr Fix mobile mechanic covers a wide geographic, bringing their mobile garage to the customer’s home or workplace.

Vehicle Technician Job Purpose:
Servicing vehicles - Carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
Carrying out pre-purchase inspection.
Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.
Some of our most common jobs include:
Servicing, brakes, suspension arms, shocks and springs, alternators, radiators, starter motors, head gaskets, timing belts, investigating electrical faults and engine management lights. You will be a confident technician and be able to carry out these repairs in the dedicated time.
Advising the Service team about required repairs.
Maintaining repair and service records.
Diagnosing the cause of a problem.
Repairing the problem in line with manufacturer's standards.
Repairing and replacing vehicle components.
Testing existing and repaired systems.
Checking for problems in newer vehicles with testing equipment connected to the vehicle's electronic control unit (ECU).
Diagnosing electrical faults without a diagnostic machine.
Liaison with manufacturers and parts advisor's.
Direct contact with the customer and provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
Vehicle Technician Skills Required:
Be skilled in diagnostics and technical faults and have a real understanding of the electronics of any vehicle.
Be a highly skilled Mechanic and able to carry out a huge range of jobs on the side of the road or driveway.
Have extensive knowledge on all makes and models
Have excellent customer service skills and able to portray them in testing and difficult circumstances.
Be a fully qualified technician, with 10+ years’ experience in a main dealer or independent garage.
Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
Have experience with electric/hybrid systems - not essential but would give an advantage.
Minimum NVQ level 3 in vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent will be essential
Hold a full UK driving licence with no points.
Energetic, proactive, calm under pressure, highly personable with a mature personality Strong Team-worker with the ability to thrive in different situations and sometimes hard working environment. Excellent organisational skills Flexibility - being prepared to work longer hours when occasionally required Self-motivated and with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Previous vehicle technician in a main dealer or Independent garage: 10+ years
- City & guilds Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair (or equivalent)
Required licence or certification:
- Full UK Driving Licence - No points or convictions.
