The client is a national retail organisation based in Wakefield and have an excellent commercial finance team. They are looking for a Merchandise Analyst as a key higher for the business.
As a Merchandise Analyst, you will be reporting into the FP&A Manager, your duties will include however are not limited to: Develop structured financial and operational information, with clear links and dependencies, Produce management reporting which provides a detailed understanding of the operational and financial dynamics of the operations, Develop the store sales budgeting process & set the store bonus targets on a quarterly basis, Own and operate the labour model for stores on a weekly basis, Run labour scenario modelling via the labour model, Respond to labour queries from stores, Setting and manging store controllable cost budgets, Develop insightful KPI reporting for decision support and manage productivity factors, Identifying and quantifying improvement opportunities and risks for stores, Preparing and presenting business cases for new initiatives, projects and asset investments, Business partnering with each of the divisional field team and department heads, Provide support for the Retail director & senior team to ensure timely, accurate and insightful analysis, Ad-hoc analysis of both BAU operations and specific projects which drives and supports improvements in company capability and profitability.

Great salary up to £36,000 + study support + holidays + pension
