The Company:SF Group is proud to be representing a market leading, multi-faceted national IFA firm based in central Sheffield who are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning Assistant to add to their already substantial, yet expanding support team. This is an urgent requirement due to the need to expand their current support structure and fully service additional business being put through the group.

The Role: The role is a senior admin support role sitting with their private wealth new business team supporting multiple high performing wealth managers across the Northern region. Typical duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assisting line manager in providing a service to support the local FP team and client base
  • Ensuring that all financial planning client administrations are carried out in accordance with the Firm's procedures
  • Producing appropriate, accurate and professional written correspondence to providers and clients
  • Liaising with product providers to gain specific information including policy valuations and illustrations

The Person: You must have experience of working within a financial services environment (ideally 1 year+) and be coming from a private wealth biased background, inclusive of processing business within investments and pensions and dealing with product provider queries within the field. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to embark on a career within financial services in a busy, challenging support function to the firms’ advisers. No industry qualifications are required, but a strong drive to progress within the industry is a necessity.
