Market Research Manager - Pharmaceuticals
Experienced qualitative Research Manager for leading pharmaceutical / healthcare market research agency
Your new company
The company is a leading market research agency, performing both qualitative and quantitative research within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, and has a highly collaborative, open and supportive atmosphere.
Based in London, but working with global clients, the company works on projects covering the whole drug lifecycle and has significant expertise in pre-launch positioning and brand-development research.
As well as significant staff increases, the company has massively exceeded it's financial targets, and is looking to add people at all levels to sustain this growth.
Your new role
Will involve taking responsibility for a range of international ad-hoc market research projects, both qualitative and quantitative, and implementing effective research methodologies to deliver high quality research to clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries - acting as an expert for both external clients and internal stakeholders.
You will manage a small team, effectively allocating resources and workload to optimise project delivery and taking an active part in staff development and coaching.
Managing client relationships will be key to this role, and you will work closely with other departments to maximise Business Development opportunities, scope and write proposals, and win new business from both new and existing clients.
You are likely to be line managing a Researcher / Senior Researcher, and take responsibility for their training and development.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need a proven track record in carrying out and managing a range of ad-hoc qualitative market research projects within the pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries, either for agency or in-house at an end client.
You should also have a good understanding of quantitative research techniques, and have worked across multiple therapeutic areas.
As the position will involve significant project management, you should experience of managing leading project teams, and effectively building and managing client relationships will be a key part of the role, so demonstrated experience in this is mandatory.
An excellent understanding of market research methodologies, with a proactive, collaborative and creative approach is needed, along with very strong communication and organisational skills.
The position is also likely to include line management, so experience of this would be an advantage.
What you'll get in return
An excellent opportunity to grow your career within a leading market research company; a fantastic working environment with great training, development and progression opportunities; a generous salary and benefits package; and the chance to make a real impact on the company's operations.
