Page Personnel are currently recruiting a temporary Accounts Assistant position based in Harrogate City Centre, for a prestigious consumer goods business. Our client are an excellent, leading family established business and pride themselves on providing a very high quality service to their clients at any level, they have a well established team in place and are looking for a new temporary addition within their Finance team. Since establishment, they now operate all over Yorkshire and are very reputable in their field.

They are very well recognised within their industry of consumer goods and offer a great working environment for every employee, they are now looking for a long term Accounts Assistant to cover a busy work period following a successful 2016.


As Accounts Assistant, you will report into the Finance Director.

Duties will include, but are not limited to: data input, financial administrative duties, working alongside the Finance Director, liaising between finance functions, processing high volumes of financial information, using SAP, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, supplier account reconciliations, processing employee expenses, cash allocations, monthly payment runs, managing a portfolio of live accounts, credit checking, debt chasing, liaising within the finance team and account managers, chasing early, processing invoices and queries and other ad hoc duties as and when required.


- Be immediately available - Essential

- Have held an Accounts Assistant position - Essential

- Have strong MS Excel skills (V Look Ups and Pivot Tables) - Desirable

- Have the ability to processes and manage high volumes as well as work in a busy office environment - Essential

Job Offer

£20,000 - £23,000 + city centre location + immediate start available + plush offices + excellent staff facilities + flexible working hours + long term role
