Our client is a charity with a history spanning over 130 years which provides help and support to vulnerable children and young people across the nation. With a wide range of celebrity support and a Royal President this charity has had dramatic growth and is seeking talent to join their expanding teams.

The Role
The role of Head of Business Development will be based in the heart of London, this position is for a driven, motivated and dynamic professional. Duties will include Managing the bid planning process ensuring quality on all bids, instructions are followed, governance and sign off process are followed in all bidding rounds. Management of teams ensuring KPI’s are set and met, monitoring the team to achieve and develop as well as hands on bid writing and bid management. Managing performance reporting and forecasting ensuring accurate and up to date information of business development and pipelines. This position is developing the commercial processes and changing to in response to trends, markets which can include costing and pricing tools - being savvy is key. Main duty is to ensure bids and tenders are commercially developed and working in partnership with the finance team to develop pricing. Analysis of bids and tenders need to be analysed and reviewed ensuring all win/ loses are shared and reported to the teams. This is varied hands on position where no day will be the same, the position will need a hands-on manager who will imbed new teams into the department and increase revenue.

· Public-sector/commissioning based markets
· Consortium / partnership bidding
