Work Relief Charity Recruitment is recruiting a Trust & Grants Fundraising Manager for a small charity with big ambitions to drive the income generation strategy forward and enable the charity to achieve its next stage of growth.

At an exciting time of development, we are looking for an experienced trusts and grants fundraising professional to develop and implement an action plan for trust and grant fundraising.

Trust & Grants Fundraising Manager

Maidenhead, Berkshire

Part Time - 3.5 days per week

Permanent

Circa £43,000 per annum pro rata (Actual £30,000 per annum)

Duties will include:

  • Overarching responsibility for Trusts and Grants fundraising
  • Develop and implement an action plan for trust and grant fundraising with the Trusts and Grants Fundraiser
  • Build and develop relationships with a portfolio of potential and strategically important grant and trust bodies
  • Maintain and deliver a schedule of applications and reporting to grant makers, including prospecting for new funders
  • Line manage the Trust and Grants Fundraiser.
  • Support the Head of Fundraising in overseeing all aspects of the charity’s fundraising activity

We are seeking candidates with a strong record of achievement in trust and grants fundraising.

Applicants will need:

  • Experience of writing successful applications to grant and charitable trusts
  • Experience of developing income from trusts, foundations and grant-giving bodies
  • Understanding and implementation of fundraising techniques and processes
  • Ability to write compelling and innovative proposals and funding reports
  • First class, demonstrable written communication skills
  • Ability to line manage, instruct and inspire reports
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a small team

Full driver’s licence and own vehicle essential.
