Finance Manager role with Leeds based public service organisation supporting health research and innovation.
Your new company
A public service organisation based in Leeds City Centre funded by the Department of Health. Managing the allocation of funding to research units across the UK, the organisation provides ongoing IT, Finance and HR support whilst focused on ensuring resources and funding are used effectively to accelerate medical research into front line services and healthcare
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, your role is to lead a team of four accounting professionals responsible for the financial returns process and financial modelling to support the annual budget allocated out across the UK. Providing analysis and interpretation of financial information captured quarterly they also ensure information is collected to meet the reporting requirements of the Department of Health.
What you'll need to succeed
A qualified accountant, you will have significant financial controls experience, alongside either commercial, contract or project accounting skills. With exceptional skills on Excel and excellent communication skills, you will be able to present financial information to varied stakeholders through reports, presentations and other informal meetings.
