But our main goal is to help landlords and agents secure the best quality tenants for their properties in the shortest time possible and protect them against the risks involved.

We are seeking to appoint a Commercial Property Insurance Consultant at our Peterborough site. If you’re an experienced Insurance professional, who would enjoy being part of an innovative business, where your ideas count then this could be a great opportunity for you.


Reporting to the Head of Landlords Support, you will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining and arranging new quotations and policies for new and existing customers, including requests from our third party insurance brokers, via telephone, post and email

  • Establishing the needs of customers based on the individual risks they are seeking to insure and understanding which insurer from our list of partners the risk should be placed with

  • Liaising with a number of partner insurers to obtain competitive rates on new risks to be insured

  • Preparing renewals to policyholders and ensuring a high percentage of policies are renewed each month

  • Managing and developing relationships with our broker clients to increase business and ensure growth of these schemes

  • Handling a range of enquiries from existing customers relating to their commercial and residential properties, including MTAs on existing policies

  • Providing support to policyholders in relation to potential claims and liaising with insurers on their behalf

  • Providing MI to the Head of Landlords Support on new business and renewal performance


The preferred candidate will:

  • Ideally have a minimum of 3 years Commercial General Insurance experience within either a broker or Insurer environment

  • Have excellent communication skills to enhance customer experience and relationships

  • Be customer and service delivery focused

  • Be able to work enthusiastically and to timescales

  • Have confidence in negotiating

  • Be computer confident with skills in Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Have a willingness to undertake bespoke internal computer and technical training

  • Be interested in pursuing a CII qualification if one is not already held
