Sheridan Maine Finance & Accountancy are recruiting a Management Accountant position for a client based in Southampton. This role is working within a medium sized finance department, reporting to the Financial Director.

Duties Include:

- Prepare reforecasts, budgets and commentaries for group.
- Ensure internal controls and processes are adhered to.
- Develop, manage and update financial systems and policies.
- Control income and expenditure.
- Analyse short and long term forecasts.
- Create monthly forecasts.
- Continuous improvement.
- Ad hoc projects for the Finance Manager.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

- PQ or qualified ACCA/CIMA desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work to an intermediate/advanced level on Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
- Proven experience in a similar role essential.
- Ability to identify improvements and efficiencies.
