Job Description

Working on behalf of a leading Art and Design college this opportunity involves developing and continuously improving the production and publishing of digital content, working with teams within the college to develop new and existing domains, inform and influence technical infrastructure and developing and implementing the college’s digital content policy working to organisational objectives.

You will be required to provide expert advice on new and emerging platforms in order to better engage with the colleges audiences and manage the digital reputation of the organisation and develop and implement creative and innovative ideas to attract visitors and improve online user experience across microsites, social networking, vodcasts, podcasts, communication programmes, online viral campaigns and digital content campaigns.

Other responsibilities include establishing systems and processes to enable college teams to maintain and manage digital content through agreed guidelines and policies, manage and monitor performance of digital domains against agreed objectives and develop the colleges brand through all online channels.

The Package

This is a full time six to twelve months fixed term contract to cover maternity leave paying the permanent equivalent salary of £38k per annum plus benefits.

Job Requirements

It is essential you have experience of working in the education sector within a similar post - you must hold a degree or equivalent qualification within marketing and communications/digital journalism and able to start work quickly.
