We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Maintenance Supervisor to join our Binswood development. The key purpose of the role is to assist the Facilities Manager with the maintenance and upkeep of the village.
Duties and responsibilities will include your involvement in planning, implementing Health and Safety procedures and practices, preventative and reactive maintenance procedures, responding to our owners, dealing with their defects and dealing with on site contractors. This requires having a positive attitude towards providing excellent workmanship supported by the possession of a thorough knowledge and level of skill in decorating, plumbing, grounds maintenance, basic electrical work within the village along with a basic level of gardening whilst maintaining a clean and safe environment.
We expect applicants to hold either a plumbing, electrical or decorating qualification or possess strong experience in a similar environment. Ideally this experience will have been gained within the hospitality industry. However, candidates with good maintenance experience from the commercial sector will also be considered. It is essential that candidates will possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be confident in communicating directly with owners and members of the public, a friendly manner, a passion for being of service, an eye for detail and will take pride in everything from their personal appearance to their workplace environment and a team player providing support to the operational team as required.
