Location: Bristol/South Wales
Salary: £38,000 + car or car allowance + benefits
Start Date: March/April
I am currently working with a leading construction and housing contractor who are based throughout the UK. The organisation who have regional offices in Bristol, Gloucester and Cardiff are looking to recruit a Regional SHEQ Manager to join their Health & Safety team. The manager would have experience within the construction or housing sector and at least 3 - 5 years experience working in a similar position where they were responsible for developing the company's Health and Safety initiative, as well as having lead a team of safety advisors beneath them.
The Ideal candidate will hold a Health and Safety qualification such as a NVQ in occupational health and safety/NEBOSH Diploma and be a member of IOSH. The ability to show evidence of monitoring, reviewing, preparing and publishing policies and procedures that apply in multi site operations. In addition evidence of the use of continuous improvement would be desirable.
The role requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong negotiation skills to ensure that all sites develop their Health and Safety compliance culture in a consistent manner.
