Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Salary: £35,000k PA + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

This is a highly strategic role which will report directly into the Sales Director of the organisation. Will be responsible for developing new business streams and market opportunities specifically across the companies portfolio. The role will be primarily a home based role with a requirement to attend client sites and the companies head office in Cheltenham.

Key Responsibilities:
*Identify target market segments to research and develop as areas of opportunity for the organisations risk and compliance services
*Via the above activities, identify leads and opportunities for license sales
*Work with the consultancy marketing team to create sector specific campaigns that will generate leads for follow up
*Generate leads through pro-active activities including attending relevant industry events and cold calling
*Generate sales meetings in order to sell the companies services to prospect accounts
*Ensure that all relevant account and opportunity information is updated daily to'Salesforce'
*Maintain accurate sales forecasts
*Liaise with the consultancy team to assist with scoping of customer requirements and proposal production

Skills & Attributes:
*Professional, commercially minded and immensely driven
*Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
*Previous experience in a similar role or an ability to 'step up' and perform at this level
*Experience in selling software solutions and consultancy services
