Purchase Ledger Clerk - 12 month fixed term contract - £20,000

Your new company
My client, an expanding construction company based in Cheltenham, is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a fixed term contract for 12 months. You will be working for a successful business in order to provide support to the Finance Manager in regards taking ownership for the Accounts Payable processes.

Your new role
Your main responsibilities will include processing invoices, setting up and updating creditor's details, reconciling statements, bank reconciliations, weekly payment runs, processing credit card reconciliations, issuing credit notes, dealing with queries and ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong organisation skills and the ability to task prioritise. You will have experience working in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. AAT qualification is advantageous but not essential along with CIS knowledge.
