Partnership Account Manager

£31000 - £43000 + Car Allowance & Bonus

INTERVIEWS WILL TAKE PLACE THURSDAY 23RD MARCH

The role is accountable for building sustainable customer relationships and partnerships predominately with CCG’S and hospitals. The main objective is to indentify, develop and convert opportunities to contracted business to meet the annual financial targets.

This role will include travelling 3-4days per week

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and convert opportunities to win new contracted business predominately from CCG’S and Hospitals in line with my client’s strategy which meets the annual revenue budget and margin target.

  • Keep up to date with and understanding the NHS environment, procurement and tender process, funding etc and maintain awareness or market development of potential new business and customer trends.

  • Attend contract performance review meeting with sector managers to ensure client satisfaction whilst identifying new opportunities.

  • Represent company at networking events and conference to establish relationships and identify trends in the market and opportunities for the company to insure that the company is at the forefront of the market.

Person specification and requirements

  • Experience building a rapport and developing sustainable relationships

  • Demonstrable experience developing business through new and existing business

  • Excellent listening and responsive communication skills

  • Experience in achieving targets inline with company strategy

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at all levels inc contract management

  • Knowledge of the NHS environment, procurement & tender process and funding

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill , inc making presentations

  • Ability to plan and organise effectively using Microsoft applications at an intermediate level.

  • Understanding of working within an operational clinical environment

  • Knowledge of an ambulance business and the non-emergency PTS market

  • Demonstrate commercial awareness inc pricing models

  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative

    Education

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent ( Grade C)

  • Further Higher Education
