We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong record of accomplishment. You will be responsible for managing project-based opportunities working with major global clients in the packaging and logistics sector. The role will involve working at all levels with both vertical and horizontal, from design, product engineering, supply chain, customer relations and technical support.
Dealing at all levels, you will both have an attention for detail, be highly responsive with analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable at a strategic level making decisions and working to budgets and commercial arrangements.
You will also be expected to refine internal procedures, lead the technical support team improving our customer relations.

The salary is £40,000 per annum + bonus. There is opportunities for progression for the right candidate as the business

The essential skills and Qualifications
• MSc Industrial Engineering and Operations Management or similar qualification.
• Qualified or trained in CAD using Solid Works or equivalent.
• Customer service driven; highly responsive with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in planning, reporting and project management in EU network where clients operate in different regions with varying cultures.
• Proven ability project manage innovation-using Lean, Kaizen and solutions driven approach.
• An effective presenter, communicator and relationship builder at all levels, with the ability to understand and translate the business needs of organizations and individuals
• Be able to work as part of team and motivate colleagues

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: -
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Hands-on approach and an ability to deliver through others
• Positive “can do” attitude
• Previous experience in project management.
• Previous experience with SAP or similar ERP system
• Have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Well organized and proven ability to plan ahead
• Fast learner – commercial, systems and processes

• Managing product launch and new implementations processes with a clear focus on Growth and Margin, minimising business risk.
• Demonstrate Value added concepts and solutions to the Client
• Demonstrate Equipment and products.
• Provide support and management to new innovation processes.
• Identify new opportunities with the client at all levels.
• Support the product forum and innovation team.
• Face to Face meetings with all levels, including the client at multiple sites across the EU.
