My client are a National firm who provide quality service across Pensions, Actuarial and Business professionals. 20 years in business has helped them grow to one of the largest Providers of Professional Services in the UK and have a number of DB, DC and Occupational Schemes that they run.

They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Penstream Specialist to assist help drive technical support via platforms, to increase the service level for the firm’s clients.

Main duties:

• Demonstrate an awareness of UK pensions legislation, current/historic issues and their application to administration, inclusive of PPF specific requirements
• Consultancy, project based or committee work as agreed, such as BWebstream system development or procedural and technical support functions, with the remit of project management and handling the more complex aspects
• New client systems installations and administration process automation
• Proactive day-to-day technical support for pension administration systems. Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge to enable high quality support
• Monitor and maintain internal systems, contribute to ongoing development cycle
• Research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues, including testing of new procedures / systems and making recommendations
• Attend meetings and provide system demonstrations with providers, clients and prospects, if required
• Mentoring – provide guidance and training for Penstream Implementers
• Identify and provide relevant training, where required be it written, face to face, presentation or other
• Train and support colleagues following development and process improvements
• Read and understand scheme documentation in order to automate processes and explain calculation reasoning

Experience needed:

• GCSE/A levels are required.
• A relevant degree, QPA or progress with PMI examinations is desirable together with experience appropriate for the role in pension administration.
• Previously worked in a similar role within Pensions or Financial Services
