Head of Marketing- Campaigns & PR

Up to £80k plus Bonus, plus Benefits

The client is a division of an international corporate Group and owns an impressive portfolio of market leading brands, encompassing technology equipment and associated services, which are sold globally. The business is committed to growing market share across both established and developing markets, and this role is considered central to success.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, and working closely with Product and Sales teams, the role is responsible for delivering the marketing campaigns and PR strategies across the digital and offline mix, raising brand profile and driving lead generation for the brand portfolio.

The role includes:

  • News and story development, delivering PR plans for traditional and social media, including maximising speaking opportunities at events.
  • Development of thought leadership and influencer marketing strategies and opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with media and industry influencers, seeking opportunities to maximise exposure
  • Creation and design of all marketing assets, content, and collaterals across digital and offline mediums and channels, paid and unpaid
  • Development and delivery of digital marketing activities and campaigns, including advertising, email, social media, sales and educational tools
  • Development and creation of integrated multi-touch marketing campaigns to drive effective lead generation and qualification, including marketing automation
  • New product launch campaigns
  • Agency management
  • Leadership of small design and content team

Candidates will have experience across the marketing campaigns mix, including PR/media activities, and will be used to managing a small team, and prioritising and delivering multiple marketing projects. The role demands a creative eye in conjunction with an analytical and commercially focused approach, and candidates need to have demonstrated ROI across activities. Experience of working within technology and the ability to distil and create compelling marketing content and messaging for technical products or solutions would be of benefit. Exposure to international marketing would also be useful.
