Our client is looking for a confident and outgoing Engagement Consultant to recruit participants from Years 11 & 12 (15, 16 & 17 year olds) from a number of pre-determined schools, both state and independent. You will be required to present the benefits of a government funded programme at school assemblies.
You will work closely with Head Teachers, Principals and Curriculum Heads to gain significant engagement from young people and keep them up to speed with events leading up to the start of their course. The engagement process does not stop and will require a focused and target driven individual, with good administrative and IT skills.
You’ll need to be a confident presenter and be able to engage with young people, recognising the challenges or obstacles they face. You’ll work independently on recruitment events across the Wiltshire area, so it’s important that you have your own transport. Working times will be flexible to fit in with the meetings and events you schedule, so good time management skills and the ability to adapt to a diverse week are essential.
Previous experience of working with 15-17 year olds and/or within the education sector is desirable as is prior selling experience.
This role requires a confident and clear public speaker as they be presenting to large groups of people including adults and young people.
