Berkeley Scott are really pleased to be recruiting in partnership with this fantastic fully-fresh hotel in the Blackburn area.

We are hoping to find a Sous Chef with solid experience in high quality gastro / rosette / fine dining and who has experience of cooking for a good level of trade, as the site is medium-sized and can get quite busy with a la carte as well as residents.

We will also consider applications from Chef de Partie candidates, as we are also looking to recruit an exceptional CDP to help the team along too!

The menus here are exceptional for the area - All fresh, very locally-sourced and made on site daily.
You will have lots of opportunity to learn and progress your career here, as the Head Chef is very well-recognised for their training. You will learn a lot here as well as being able to develop the junior teams.
You will also assist in running services at peak, and be responsible for gradually taking on some of the responsibilities of the Head Chef, and will have lots of opportunities to give your input to and develop menus.

The team here are absolutely lovely - As such, you should have a bright personality and be able to get on well with everyone - Front of house teams here are as well-trained as the chefs and everyone gets along very well.

In return for your passion and dedication, your hard work will be rewarded with a generous salary of up to £26,000 as well as an equal share of the tips.
