Paraplanner
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: Up to £35k + package (dependent on experience)

Our client is a well-known Wealth Management firm, providing a range of financial advice and investment management. As one of the oldest and most successful financial services businesses in the UK, our client is looking for an experienced Paraplanner who can join their successful team to service the needs of customers who have had their financial needs met for generations.

The following skills and attributes are necessary for this role:

• CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning is a minimum requirement (additional Diploma- or Advanced-level modules will also be considered)
• 2:1 Honours degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial planning
• Detailed understanding of financial markets and regulations in the industry
• Self-motivation and ambition to fulfil goals
• Team player with first-rate people skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload under pressure
• Strong analytical skills and excellent numeracy abilities

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Providing appropriate support for the advisers
• Facilitating the smooth processing of new and existing business
• Liaising with the administration team
• Assisting with the monitoring of compliance standards across the FP Department
• Assisting with reconciliation of commissions and fees for the FP Department
• Building a working knowledge of the business support function, and to manage the teams relations with business support
• Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
• Assisting with the supervision of the FS administration unit, monitoring its effectiveness and identifying improvements
• Writing detailed and bespoke reports in preparation for advisers’ meetings with clients
• Maintaining professional development, staying up to date with industry changes, legislation, regulation and relevant qualifications
