Client Details

A large, well established organisation that is based in Rugby are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a full time permanent role.

Description

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Ensuring all invoices have authorisation in line with Authority Matrix and match to orders, order detail spreadsheet, and delivery notes, checking prices & quantities
  • Coding of invoices - cost centres, general ledger codes and project codes
  • Input invoices onto SAP with appropriate detail including foreign currency invoices
  • Batch totalling of Invoices, updating control document & checking to SAP then filing
  • Coding & input of expenses and credit cards
  • Preparation of Payment runs in SAP for BACS payment via on-line banking
  • Raising Cheques and making manual payments via multi account on-line banking system
  • Liaising with suppliers including reconciliation of supplier statements & resolving queries
  • Download bank statements daily
  • Miscellaneous overhead analyses & trackers
  • Various month end journals and tasks

Profile

The successful candidate will require:

  • Proven Purchase Ledger experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Be a good Excel user

Job Offer

£20,000-£22,000 Per annum
