This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, bright and hardworking Accounts Assistant to join a market leading company during a period of sustained growth.

We are looking for someone that knows how to take a page of numbers and turn it into valuable data, which will improve business performance and highlight areas for future expansion. A high percentage of business growth last year came from overseas markets. So dealing with different currencies is expected, ideally the candidate will be keen to explore how the numbers differ from country to country in order to make growth predictions.

Responsibilities include:
* Entering invoices on to SAGE according to defined procedures.
* Data collection and input into Excel documents for analysis.
* Undertake problem-solving in areas relevant to primary duties.
* Work with different currencies; identifying exchange rates and carrying out conversion calculations.
* Organising quarterly files.
* File invoices and accounting data according to defined procedures.
* Answering supplier telephone and e-mail queries.
* Maintaining petty cash and PO systems.
* Checking and entering data on to our OMS.
* Creating and sustaining links between all departments.
* Ad-hoc department duties as they arise.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and be a whiz at data entry.
* SAGE & MS NAV knowledge (advantage but not essential as training will be given).
* Advanced IT skills, particularly a strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
* Self-motivated, organised and a brilliant multi-tasker.
* Initiative and proactively find solutions where needed.
* Understand of the common goal and with fantastic communication skills be able to connect with various departments to ensure that operations run as effectively and efficiently as possible.
* Take ownership of a task and see it through to completion with the highest attention to detail.
* Working towards an AAT qualification or equivalent.
* Flexible and able to adapt to any situation.
